Angus Ross was appointed as Managing Director, Television and Streaming in July 2026 and is responsible for all television and streaming content teams, covering news, sport and entertainment across Seven and 7plus.
Ross is one of Australia’s most accomplished and influential media executives, with a proven track record of driving market-leading content strategies across both traditional broadcast and modern digital streaming.
Prior to his current role, he spent more than 25 years at the Seven Network in key content and management positions. As Network Director of Programming, Ross was responsible for the programming, acquisition, and scheduling strategy that led Seven to long-term market dominance, securing the number-one network position for 17 out of 19 years.
During his tenure, he managed the network’s transition into digital streaming, executing the content strategy for 7plus’s launch and growth. Ross has overseen the commissioning and production of major domestic franchises, including My Kitchen Rules, Home and Away, Border Security, and House Rules, alongside major international network acquisitions.
