BEST MATES, BIG LAUGHS: JESS & ROHAN ANNOUNCED AS THE HIT NETWORK’S NEW STATEWIDE NSW BREAKFAST DUO

19 January 2025

Mornings are about to get brighter, funnier, and a whole lot more relatable, as best mates Jess Farchione and Rohan Edwards team up for the Hit Network’s new statewide Breakfast show, Jess & Rohan.

Proudly based in Newcastle and broadcasting across regional NSW, the Hit Network’s Jess & Rohan will launch on Tuesday, 27 January, bringing the effortless chemistry and real-life conversations that make Breakfast radio feel just like catching up with friends.

The new show brings together two seasoned broadcasters who share a genuine, decade-long friendship. A beloved Newcastle local, Jess is a trusted voice for listeners, known for her warmth, candid storytelling, and knack for turning everyday chaos into laugh-out-loud radio. Now, she’s joined by a person who knows her better than anyone, her best mate.

Rohan returns to radio after a brief break from the mic, most recently lighting up Newcastle’s dance floors as a DJ. His on-air career spans early stints at 2DayFM and B105 Brisbane, to becoming a familiar voice nationwide for listeners as part of Abbie Chatfield’s national radio show. Known for his electric energy, sharp wit, and talent for stirring things up, Rohan is set to bring a dynamic spark to listeners’ mornings.

Together, Jess & Rohan promise fast-paced, funny, and refreshingly honest Breakfast radio, packed with just the right amount of chaos to keep listeners on the edge of their seat.

Blair Woodcock, SCA Head of Regional Content, said: “Jess & Rohan is exactly the kind of show listeners will love waking up with. Their years of friendship will create a natural, warm, and exciting energy on air. We can’t wait for listeners across NSW to make them part of their mornings.”

Rohan said: “Finally getting to work with one of my best friends in the business and wake up Hit Network listeners across NSW is an absolute career highlight for me. I’m pumped to get stuck in and get this show started!”

Jess said: “Breakfast radio is such a special part of people’s day, and I am so excited to share it with Rohan. We’ve known each other for a decade but there’s still so much to discover and I can’t wait for our listeners to get to know him at the same time. Our goal is simple; to bring a little joy, a lot of laughter and a tonne of chaos to the mornings!”

Jess & Rohan can be heard weekdays across the Hit Network in regional NSW from 6am-9am and is available to stream on LiSTNR from Tuesday, 27 January.
